I just about started crying when Anthony Baratta, in front of another customer, expressed how cool he thought Ame Ame was.
It meant a lot to me because the store had barely been open afull month in the new location and hence most of the store was still really bare and the lighting was extra awful. And to have a compliment from Anthony Barrata meant even more because I knew of his name as a famous interior decorator from my first New York gig at Charlotte Moss Townhouse.
Later on Anthony Baratta’s assistant passed on this comment about Amé Amé.
“Indulge your sweet tooth while shopping for cool gear. Very clever focus on accessories that adds excitement to any rainy day. “
And for anybody wants to know, Mr. Baratta loves salty licorices.
