While I never read the last 100 pages of Atlas Shrugged and I really can’t argue with anybody who says there are plenty of weaknesses with how Ayn Rand wrote and weaknesses with the “heroes” of her books and problems with her philosophical outlook, I can’t help but feel like I’m living in a full on dystopian mashup of 1984 and Atlas Shrugged at the moment and we’re only just down the road from having a mash up of Handmaid’s Tale societies, Mad Max – Water World rebels and criminals, Fahrenheit 451 minions, and the Hunger Games.
